Grilled fruit

Here's a way to level up your meal by putting breakfast fruit on the grill. You get a whole new dimension and combination of flavors -- the char from the grill, the oil you grill it, and the caramelization of the natural sugars in the fruit all add up to a big YUM. Fruits that hold their shapes better like apples and pears are ideal to try since they won't become mush on the grate.

Wrapping your fruit in meats like prosciutto adds an extra dimension of salt and works great with melon. Here's a way to do it using apricots.
