Artisan Outdoor Kitchens: Professional Series Grills vs. American Eagle Series Grills

The Embers Blog is focusing in on Artisan grills and outdoor kitchen products – we’ve had several customers in our Franklin showroom recently with lots of questions about this brand!

Artisan, also known as Artisan Grills, is positioned in the outdoor kitchen marketplace as a high-quality, American-made brand with a reasonable price. Artisan buyers get premium quality and a high level of technical features at a budget level more in line with imported offerings.

“Artisan is manufactured & assembled by the team behind the ultra-luxury Alfresco brand of outdoor kitchen lifestyle products.  Buyers of the Artisan brand get the same attention to quality & detail offered by Alfresco at a much more affordable price.”

Alfresco, a company with a 30+ year track record in the outdoor kitchen marketplace, saw a demand for high-quality outdoor kitchen equipment and developed the Artisan brand from the ground up to be a mid-priced premium offering. By adding Artisan to it’s offering Alfresco became one of only a few brands that offers a high-quality American made brand at a more reasonable price.

Artisan Grills is at the crossroads of value and quality. They offer two different series of grills, the Professional model grills and American Eagle series. Let’s take a closer look at the two series and see what makes them different.

Artisan's Professional Series of Grills

The Professional Series of grills by Artisan are designed to provide superior combustion, more even heat distribution, and more accurate temperature control for serious cooks. The grill casing is made from 304 series stainless steel for long-lasting beauty & resistance to the elements.  Professional Series grill models are offered in both built-in (drop-in) and freestanding/cart formats for maximum flexibility.

Artisan's American Eagle Series of Grills

Both the American Eagle and Professional series of grills by Artisan share in some of their value-added included features.  The American Eagle grill, at a lower price point, offers a lot of the bells & whistles that make the Professional Series such a great option for outdoor cooks.

The American Eagle grill is for those who want Artisan quality and style at a lower price – if you feel the Professional’s electrical features are unnecessary then the American Eagle grill is for you! The pricing and level of features have made American Eagle grill models a hit with local builders and renovation contractors.

Here’s some of the shared highlights between the two series:

The biggest difference in the two series is that the American Eagle line does not include the same degree of electrical accessories and upgrades as the Professional Series. American Eagle grills use a simple, 9 volt battery for ignition power and have no control panel lights, no interior grill lights and no electric rotisserie back burner. The Professional Series includes the LED control panel lights, interior grill lights and a sturdy powered rotisserie back burner at its higher price point.
